If loved ones are joining you, choose outfits in a shared, harmonious colour palette. When everyone complements one another, no one outfit steals the attention, and your portrait has a timeless feel you’ll love for years to come.

There’s no need to bring a change of clothes. Your portrait session is up to one hour, and Frances spends that time getting to know everyone so that your portraits reflect you and your connections. And helping everyone relax and photograph genuine moments together. Changing outfits only takes time away from that. The focus is on you and your connection, not what you’re wearing.

No, we don’t, and we’d love to explain why.

Like most people, we have thousands of photos on our phones that we hardly ever look at. We always plan to print the good ones, but life gets busy and they end up staying there lost among all the other files.

Over the years, we’ve seen what happens when a portrait is actually displayed in your home. People tell us they look at it every morning. On a tough day, it’s a reminder of why they keep going. Kids love seeing themselves looking their best. It becomes part of the house in a way a photo on a phone never does.

So we only offer framed portraits, professionally finished in our lab and ready to hang on the wall or display on flat surfaces within your home. At your ordering appointment, Frances will help you design artwork that suits your home, just honest advice on what will work in the home you’ve built, as every home and family is different.

Your portrait session is one hour in the studio, and it’s a lovely hour.

We start by simply getting to know you. Frances takes time to chat with everyone and find out what each person loves; maybe it’s the song that makes them laugh or dance, the animal sound that lights them up, the specific sound that gets the dog’s full attention. Little ones warm up at their own pace, and dogs get a chance to sniff around and settle in. Frances uses everything she learns throughout your session to bring out genuine smiles and real personalities, and that’s when the magic happens.

From there, Frances photographs you all together, then in different combinations depending on what portrait experience you’ve booked. Siblings, parents with the kids, the dog with everyone, and each person on their own. She guides you the whole way, so you never have to worry about what to do next.

Before you leave, we’ll book your viewing and ordering appointment, so bring your diary. When you come back, also for about an hour, you’ll see your portraits for the very first time and design the artwork for your home with Frances.

Yes, we love dogs! Frances loves to photograph people with their dogs. We photograph dogs on their own, dogs with their dog mum and/or dog dad and families with their dog too, because dogs are family too. Kindly note for dog portrait sessions, you can book your portrait session midweeks or the last appointment on a Saturday. This is so we have enough time to hoover and clean before the next appointment as some of our clients may have allergies etc.

Every portrait we create is fully finished and framed, ready to hang on your wall or stand on your desk, so there’s nothing more to do once it’s home.

Desk portraits start from €75, and wall portraits start from €250.

There are no packages or minimum orders. You simply choose the portraits you love, as many or as few as you like.

Before you leave your portrait session, Frances will show you our framed portraits in the studio so you can see and feel the quality for yourself. You’ll also take home our brochure, so you can think about which pieces might suit your home before your viewing and ordering appointment. When you come back, Frances will help you choose what’s right for your home and your budget.
